Vusic is software that “listens” to your music CDs and generates colorful animations in response to the beats.
With Vusic you have complete control over all aspects of the animations and can direct them by using a control panel or the keyboard.
The animations can be saved and then attached to music tracks on your CDs.
Here are some key features of “Vusic”:
A Creative Tool
■ Vusic is primarily a creative tool. You can create your own combinations of patterns, colors, and movements. You can choreograph and edit your own custom animation for an entire song.
Unlimited Components
■ Vusic supports an unlimited number of animation components. New free components will be available to users on a monthly basis.
Custom Images
■ You can create your own components from your favorite images. Embed these personal images into your own custom animations or share them with other users.
Attached Animations
■ You can attach saved animations to a music track on any CD, so that Vusic will play the saved animation whenever that particular music track is played.
Custom CDs
■ You can create a custom music CD that has animations encoded on the CD. Vusic can detect if a music track has an encoded animation on the CD and will play it automatically. To protect the work of artists, these animations are locked and cannot be edited.
Project Vusic at Events
■ Adding projected visuals to music at clubs or parties doubles the fun.
Limitations:
■ One week trial.

“Vusic” listens to your music and displays an animated preview in response to the music.
When Vusic is playing music, it continually scans the CD for the next track to play. It will react automatically to any change in track, i.e. it will respond to silence, a pause, and any re-direction of play to another track. Vusic will remain running even if there is no music playing.
Vusic has several modes of operation:
■ Launch mode: plays a single track and listens for the next track.
■ Play mode: plays multiple tracks and makes it easier to control the order in which the tracks are played.
■ Scan mode: automatically detects changes in the music and activates Vusic, playing the animation directly in response to the music.
■ Automatic mode: Vusic does not play an animation for the duration of the music. Instead, it switches to the “scan mode” after the last song is played.
■ CD mode: Play mode on a custom music CD.
■ Custom mode: Use the control panel or keyboard to control the color, speed, and movement of the animation.
The principle is simple. Vusic listens to the music and you control how the animation appears to respond to the music.
Vusic “listens” to your music CDs, and displays a preview of the resulting animations.

This program is a media-player like Winamp, but programmed with a focus on beats.
Just like in a DJ set, you will have multiple CDs running simultaneously and the user can add a control panel to navigate through them.
Using the control panel, you can create your own animation or allow Vusic to choreograph it for you. You can even reposition the control panel to make the animation line up with the beats.
You can also use the keyboard to control the animation. Vusic will do everything it can to have the animation play smoothly.
You can also get help for the program or have your own questions answered. The possibilities for this software are limitless.

Why did Lorenzana not take the opportunity, two years ago, to bring a resolution that sought to formalize a traditional and national way of life among indigenous Filipinos? Perhaps because the Episcopal Church has failed to articulate, through a doctrinal statement, a viable and correct position on the issue of territorial and spiritual sovereignty. “The case that has failed to reach any clarity seems to be in a state of paralysis,” writes Bishop Welby, who, like Lorenzana, refuses to suggest to the Philippine Church that it admit former and current United States military bases in the country as a condition of full communion.
“There are no human rights without national sovereignty”
Lorenzana and Bishop Welby are not the first Philippine bishops to grapple with this question of the relations between territorial sovereignty and the common good. The very founding bishops of the Philippine Church, in an early encyclical, grappled with this question and made a distinction between national sovereignty and “the protection of men’s rights” (which is commonly identified with human rights).
One of the early bishops, Leopoldo de los Reyes, treated the question of sovereignty in historical perspective. He saw “the aspiration for sovereignty as not being an independent doctrine by itself, but as a feature of the Christian faith as such.” As Bishop Welby correctly observes, “Without territorial sovereignty, there can be no human rights.”
In the light of this basic axiom, the question of territorial sovereignty is a matter of the common good. The Philippine bishops from 1935 to 1981, faced with the question of whether
