Terminal Font comes as a substitute for the default Fixedsys font present in the DOS-Box of any Windows operating system. As the author of this particular font, many other users might have felt that Fixedsys is not the best looking font in the world, thus Terminal was born.
Using the Terminal Font of the NewDOS pack, you can deploy it to your system so you can enjoy it in DOS-Box as well as any other consoles you might work in. The sizes it comes in start with 8×13 and end with 12×23, thus covering a wide array of options (9×16 and 10×19 are also included).
The codepages that Terminal Font is available in are 437 (the English one), 850 (a variation of 437 with more special characters), 865 (for Norway and Denmark) as well as 852 (for Slav languages). Terminal Font also provides a licensed version for use within full screen applications.
Moreover, Terminal Font installs as any other font does. All you have to do is access the context menu of the FON file and choose ‘Install’ or go to Control Panel’s Fonts section and install it from there. Anyway you choose to do is, Terminal Font is more than happy to replace the wicked Fixedsys font.
The bottom line is that Terminal Font is not a TrueType Font, thus it does not suit any Windows application. Its sole purpose was to take the place of the unattractive existing Microsoft provided font for consoles and DOS-Box.

The province’s transit agency is asking the public to submit written and oral submissions on why the existing PIP review process should continue and how it can be improved.
Public comment is being sought on the PIP review process to address the projected need for transit in Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland and how best to meet the anticipated increase in public transit service demand in the future.
The plan currently under review covers the public transit areas within the metropolitan and regional districts from Surrey to the boundary of the Abbotsford Regional District. These areas represent more than 80 per cent of the projected transit demand for the region over the next 30 years. The PIP Review Team is undertaking this review in accordance with the Sustainable Transportation Advisory Board (STAB) review on the update to the Capital Budget Plan for the public transit and local streets/ways functions in Greater Vancouver and surrounding areas.
As part of the public participation process, the Ministry is seeking public comment on the three options for the long-term planning process for the province’s public transit system. The three options being considered are:
A new capital investment plan.
A continuing PIP process.
A new action plan for long-term planning of public transit.
Comments on the review process, including the public involvement process, are due by Jan. 19, 2016.
